My Mangapapa School Advertisement video!!!

This week for cybersmart we were creating a wevideo on our school. We were supposed to make a video about the school to persuade people to come to our school or see how amazing it is. 

 What I found difficult was narrating, because firstly, I do not like recording myself and secondly I kept on muddling my words up when I was speaking,(we had to write a script) so I got my buddy to Narrate for me but it was afterwards when I found out that You had to do it yourself.

Something I found rather easy was choosing the photographs for the video and choosing the order to put them because that is something I can easily do(and like to do). Another thing I found easy was adding the transitions in between the pictures.

This week for cybersmart we were learning about whether things were fake or real.  Firstly we watched a video explaining what work we had to do, then we paired up  (I paired with Olivia, my friend)  Together we decide which video's or images were real or fake. Afterwards we had to create our own fake image. Olivia and I made our own images but we worked together. Here Is her blog-Olivia's blog

I found it difficult to find the correct specific images on Unsplash, and make them look all funny!

I found it easy to download the images remove the backgrounds and put it  on google drawings and on here.  I think I will call my creature's Drafoxes.

 

My Feathered Owl Art!

My Owl Art!!!

This week my classroom went to the Art Room. Our piece of art that we made this time was an owl. For this we had to do a new technique; feathering. Firstly we did the Eyes. I found those very difficult because I first did the white in the wrong circle, and then I had to restart. After the eyes we started the eyebrows. We had to pick three completely different colours for the eyebrows. I chose Dark pink, yellow and light blue. Next I did the beak. Orange and light orange. The beak is a shield shape. The main colours of the bird are purple and violet. Its bottom is light blue and normal pink.  It's tiny chest is Dark yellow, yellow and white. I did a firework kind of chest. Flicking outwards.

For Cybersmart, my class had to make a poster for our Mini Gala that we are going to have at School. We had to use Piktochart to make our posters. Piktochart is a new website to me, but creating the poster was easy as there was a video for us to watch so we knew what to do. We were allowed to choose to start with a template or start completely on our own. I decided to start with a template.I changed my background and deleted somethings, I also added some pictures of some of the things that will be there.

I found this task quite easy as I had the help of my friends if I didn't know something. Starting with the template probably made things easier as I needn't to a lot of work, as there was already a poster there.(Basically)

What is Media?

This week for Cybersmart we were learning about media. Firstly we watched some videos to help us understand what we were going to do, then we wrote down on a slide what we thought Media is. I chose to do this with a buddy (Asta). After a second video Asta and I had to create a poster that had pictures of what kinds of Media we had consumed that week. (which is below)

The hardest part in creating the poster was finding the right kind of pictures, and actually agreeing to use it. Another tricky part in making the poster was choosing a font that both of us wanted.

Helena's Magic!!!

Have you made a random Penguin appear out of nowhere?

My video shows that magic is real because in my video a random penguin appears onto my hand out of nowhere! If I had had more time on this video I probably would have gotten the penguin to appear at the right time, and made it a little more exciting. I learnt how to have an audio go, and how to trim the video and  ( Kind of(because I knew a little.) how to use screencastify.

I found it quite hard to make the video as close as I wanted it to be because I had to get the Audio to go on for 30 secs and all my other things to go on for 30 secs and my video at the time was way less than 30 secs. I found it especially hard to get all the transitions into the correct place, where I wanted.

I found it rather easy to take the actual video and import it into Wevideo, make the little titles appear          ( Helena's surprise, and Thanks for watching!!!) and  add in the transitions.

A Cybersmart scratch game.

This scratch game was really difficult to make and took quite a long time for even the tiniest amount of work! This is my second game, and I really hope it turns out better than it is. My first game was a remix but it still turned out okay.This scratch game is about how to care for your device. I found it really hard to get my characters in the exact place I wanted them to be in, and the broadcast between the cat and the arctic fox actually work ( I still haven't quite worked that out).

I enjoyed choosing my characters, colouring them and changing the background for my scratch game. I guess I also enjoyed doing the coding and learning new things about scratch-like how to move the characters and how far to move them and how to make two characters talk to each other (broadcasting) and how to hide a character till a specific time.

Next time I think I need to use my time more wisely, and ask more questions to find out the answers-(especially for the broadcasting and the movement).If you Know about this please comment below and tell me how. Thank you!

I found it really easy to do the first bits of the coding for the game, but the rest of the coding was quite difficult to do.

My Blog Commenting scratch game!!!

Have you ever made your own scratch game?

Well I got to have a start on making one, and this is how it's turned out!

We were learning how to fix up the Broken Remix coding and fix up the background\Make one of our own and post it on our blog so we could maybe later make our own on our own.

I found it really tricky to find the coding and put it in the correct place because I had to keep on replaying the game to see if I had got the coding correct or not.

I chose to make mine in the sky because it made sense to put clouds in the sky because that's where you usually see them and they were the shape I liked best.

My Avatar GIF!!!

 We were learning about Fixing one of our posts and turning it into a GIF.

I found it easy to fix up a post And find some sentance stams

I found it hard to actually make the GIF.

I really enjoyed writing the sentance stems because they were nice and easy.

Next time I need to try and not rush everthing and do things more quality

Smart comments

 We were learning about Book creator.

I found it easy to Take the photo's and do the backgrounds because the  backgrounds were Just right there in sight.

I found it hard to  Find the right pictures that were as close to what was in my mind.

I really enjoyed Putting the book together  and seeing the book finally finished.

Next time I need to Plan what I need to do More Better with my buddy because this took a long time because I didn't really Know what to do.

Sort out the Blog comments.

We were learning about what Blog comments were good and bad so we could write some good comments to others. 

I found it easy to write about the comments that were good and what were bad because it was easy to tell what they had done wrong and right in their comments.

I found it hard to decide if some of them were good or bad comments because they were polite and good but they had where they live and phone number.

I really enjoyed reading the comments people wrote.

Next time I need to explain more about what good and bad comments are about so people understand better.

We were learning about how to make comics about comments that make you feel good.

I found it easy to  decide and write what was happening.

I found it hard complete this comic in the time We were given so this is all it is so far.

I really enjoyed choosing characters.

Next time I need to try and finish this in time.

Have you heard of Polylining and Curve-lining?

We were learning about Polyline and Curve-line.

I found it easy to Take the picture and Polyline and curve-line myself.

I found it hard to Fit in all the little Details because the polyline and curve-line were difficult to control.

I really enjoyed finding the colours my Avatar could be because it was so much easier than polylining and curve-lining my Avatar.

We were learning to use good description words in our writing, and follow the poem structure.

I found it easy to follow the poem structure.

I found it hard to come up with ideas for my poem.

I really enjoyed thinking of all the fun things I did during lockdown.

Next time I need to explain my words better!

My Extinct Animal

    This is My Extinct Animal. It is a pegasus! It was really hard because I couldn`t find the right shapes and texture picture for my creature.

My Chrome Pet

We were learning how to make animals using free pictures and shapes.

I found it easy to find what shapes I needed for my Chrome cat.

I found it hard to get the right size and colour for my Chrome cat.

I really enjoyed learning about what pictures are good to use and what is not.

Next time I need to concentrate more and try harder when I make little pictures like this.
